As the eternal debate exists between Windows, Mac OS and Linux… Chrome, IE and Firefox… the battle rages on between various CMS’s (Content Management Systems) as well…
WordPress, Joomla! and Drupal are the CMS’s most often debated, each has its merits… and a method has recently been discovered to leverage one CMS in particular, as a source of highly usable Google friendly backlinks…
WP vs. Joomla vs. Drupal
WordPress is by far the most common CMS out there due to its usability and accessibility. It’s incredibly simple to get a site built, up and running within minutes, and customization as made easy with it’s refined user interface.
Drupal, however, is more like the ‘Linux’ of the CMS world… it’s open source and requires a little more technical ‘know-how’ to get the most out of it, but the possibilities are enormous.
Customization and scale on the Drupal CMS are beyond what WordPress is presently capable of, so it’s better suited to those who feel they will eventually ‘out-grow’ WordPress.
Joomla! sits somewhere in the middle… it’s more complex than WordPress, but slightly less accessible… and not as customizable as Drupal, but slightly simpler to use.
It is however considered by some to be the best CMS to use to build up a blogging community.
But it’s a feature of Drupal blogs that presents a mostly undiscovered opportunity to create the kind of links Google loves.
(Note: You don’t need to be using Drupal yourself to use this method!)

Drupal Backlinks
Drupal has a feature of its blogs that allows each comment or post reply to have it’s own standalone URL.
This is significant to Google and allows you to create new ‘dofollow’ and ‘nofollow’ links (both are important for natural link diversity), and potentially boost link juice to other backlinks you have directed at your site.
While the method’s case study shows a site reaching the front page for a highly competitive search term, as they say quite clearly, it’s critical to remember this method shouldn’t be used alone, but should instead be a useful part of your overall linking strategy.

This new method allows you to quickly and easily find sites that will allow you to create a new source of valuable backlinks for your site.
It’s also refreshingly honest and hype-free, including several ‘best practices’ you absolutely must pay attention to in all your link-building and SEO practices.
